About Jerry.

Jerry and Sharon are happily married. They have a blended family of 7 kids, 17 grand kids and their first great grandchild. After spending four decades in education as a teacher and principal, Jerry and Sharon enjoy lake living in Frazee, MN.

After graduating from Moorhead State University (MN), Jerry began his elementary teaching career in 1978 in Ogilvie, MN (K-12 school population : 450). During his eight year stint there, he also coached football, basketball and softball while finishing his administrative degree work at St. Cloud State University. His 31-year elementary principal career took him to Clarissa, Osakis, Perham and Detroit Lakes in MN. His final six years took him to Fargo, ND.

Along the way Jerry has served many additional roles including Title I Director, Summer School Director, Summer Rec Leader, HS Football Official (27 yrs), State educational organization board member and president. Many awards came his way because he had such outstanding staff to work with.
